Conny Cooper is a practitioner of Chinese medicine with a special interest in the Flavour and Nature approach as taught by Andrew and JulieAnn Nugent-Head. She runs a busy practice in NW London, teaches practical skills CPD courses for acupuncturists, and offers weekly herb tasting sessions which RCHM members are welcome to join live online. As CEO of the RCHM, she is passionate both about supporting Chinese herbalists in the UK and improving the standing of Chinese medicine with the wider public.

From Herb Tasting to Clinical Practice : Building Confidence, Improving Results

Herb tasting is not only an enjoyable activity, but also an effective way of prescribing herbs in clinic. Using examples of real clinical cases, Conny will explain how a first-hand understanding of Flavour and Nature is a concrete way of choosing herbs for our patients. This session, which is aimed both at budding practitioners looking to build their confidence and experienced practitioners curious about a new perspective on herbal treatment, will include the tasting and discussion of several herbs and discussion of a number of clinical cases.
